Boaz Made A Hattrick, Bantul vs Persipura Ended 2 - 5

Persipura managed to reap full points in an away game against Persiba Bantul in Sultan Agung Stadium, Friday (2/5). The game ended in shocking 5-2 defeat for Persiba.

Persipura's opening goal was scored by Boaz Solossa in the ninth minute. However, the home side managed to respond with Emile Mbamba's in the 35th minute.

Towards the end of the first half, Boaz brought back the Black Pearl superiority. It was 2-1 for Persipura until halftime.

Entering the second half, Persipura's excellent form continued to dominate the second hafl. However, it was Persiba who scored first. The second goal by Ngon A Djam was due to penalty kick in the 51st.

Persipura was then back in the lead with 3-2 after Boaz scored a hattrick in the 57th minute. But, they didn't stop there. Persipura was increasingly unstoppable with two additional goals from Ian Kabes (82') and Eddy Boakay Foday (86').

The score was 5-2 and remained unchanged until the end. With such result, Persipura climbed to third place in Group 2 with 17 points. Persiba Bantul, on the other hand, slumped down at the bottom with only five points: one win, two draws, and seven losts.
