The defeat of The U-19 National Team againts Oman in preparation for AFC Cup U-19 is not considered as a major problem. Board of the National Team (BTN) considers that the final result ended 1-2 at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, (9/4) was natural.
"Players had to go through a recovery process after the pilgrimage (umroh). So, for me it's narrow defeat is OK," said La Nyalla Mattalitti, chairman of BTN.
However, La Nyalla does expect that the team who use the most of PSSI budget is able to show improvement in the next game.
"It is actually, should motivates their spirit and a process of maturation. The result could warn them about their position and weaknesses, so they need to improve," said La Nyalla.
On Friday (11/4), Indonesia U-19 will meet Oman for the second time.
